The Lynchburg area in the layout is the first place all four tracks can be seen at the same time.

Enjoy the photos - hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

I was in an early postwar mood this week -

Lucia running the trains -

NS 8-40C 8710 leads a late running 337 into Rock Hill, SC as the crew throws out a friendly wave to Lucia

A NY Penn Station bound Keystone service train passes a a stopped NJT NY local. AEM7 946 brings up the markers.

My latest addition to my 'That 70's Show' collection.

A custom painted Weaver E-8. I got it and a matching K-Line E-8B recently and they make up a super nice set. I never had any interest in Rock Island but after watching a video on the railroad I kinda had to have a few on the roster.

All part of my current 1970's era collecting and building.

NOW YOU DON'T!

now you don't

All of my N&W Class J locomotives (6 Scale Shrouded 3 Scale Unshrouded) are now loaded into boxes and going to the Virginia Museum of Transportation for tomorrow's big event. It has taken four hours to grease, lube, clean and pack 9 O-Gauge locomotives along with 15 passenger cars.

So very true J Daddy.

Mike C, who makes that Allegheny? Love 'em.

Scott, I should store those engines for you when you're done. I don't want to see you sell them off in haste just 'cause of taxes!

I get a special kick out of seeing the kids play with trains in pictures posted here, maybe from when the grandkids are here playing with mine. It always brings a smile to my face.

I must have no memory? Whenever the kids are here, we spend more time arguing about which engine gets to run and who's going to run it!

A little track testing of the modified double loop D-27 layout that I have been working on.

Thought I'd use my trusty old 202, my first repaint, saved original shell and put two broken shells together to make this one (96). The B unit is another 202,(heavily modified),  with e-unit removed and tethered to A unit.

Had to come up with a double loop plan to use this Lionel Bridge, that I bought with no place or way to actually use it. Go figure, we never buy stuff we don't need or have room for.................

And it looks like Woody and Buzz are off on another adventure.
