It's time for Weekend Photo Fun!!
While traveling Monday I saw this water tower, it would make a nice project for someone.
Let's see your pictures.

Model Train Stuff & Benchwork at MENARDS • June 25, 2019
Inside the new MENARDs & Lunch at Hunter House. The Hunter House is on my bucket list for a model train structure.
1 - Now open on June 25, 2019. Let’s look for train stuff & lumber for benchwork.
2 - No train stuff in stock. The sales associate check his computer and it shows train stuff as seasonal and will be in the store in September.
3 - Took the shopping cart to the second floor via a ramp - escalator.
4 - This is kind of cool. Took the ramp - escalator to the second floor and the shopping cart comes along for the ride.
5 - Took the elevator back to the first floor & the outdoor lumber yard / landscaping supplies.
6 - If you like M&M’s like I do, check this out.
7 - This is also very cool, need lumber for your model train bench work. Place your order inside the yard & pay. Next drive your vehicle into the yard and the MENARDS associates load your vehicle. Cool.
8 - Entrance to the order pickup, this is how lumber yards used to be back in the day. You may have something like this on your layout. Outdoor lumber yard.
After hanging out at MENARDS, had lunch at Hunter House Hamburgers. Where the rich & famous from Metro Detroit go for lunch.
9 - Voted the #1 Hamburger in Michigan. 35075 Woodward Ave. Birmingham, Michigan 48009 / I do agree. This structure would look great on my layout.
10 - Reading the menu board.
11 - Order please. 2 sliders, small fry & large coke.
Wait there is more, let’s check out some of my favorite MENARDS Model Train Stuff on my layout.
12 - Red Owl Grocery Store is a grocery store located in Northern Michigan & Wisconsin.
13 - Santa Fe Trailways on a flatcar.
14 - This 2014 Chicago & Northwestern Boxcar was one of the first boxcars to go into production.
15 - Construction Crain busy at work moving building supplies.
16 - Menards panel truck is heading to repair a roof top air conditioner at the Red Owl grocery store.
What’s next at this new MENARDS. Grand Opening: Sunday July 7th., 2019 & Winning Indy 500 Car and Driver Simon Pagenaud on location Wednesday July 10th with a presentation starting at Noon followed by autograph signing.
All images shot with an iPhone 7 Plus and post production with Adobe Photoshop.
I photograph for the fun of model railroading & the joy of photography. • • Gary: Have a great weekend.
A 2018 Christmas Layout memory.
Once again, no Summer scenes so I'm going with Halloween again.

Have been having some fun with running O scale 2 and 3 rail on a large Garden Railway. We get between 400 to 800 visitors to the Garden Railway per day. The overall park has a large ride on railway open to the public on weekends.
There is a dual gauge G/O track on the large island and smaller island has a loop of O garden track. I tired out the nice LionChief + Blue Comet engine with Williams Passenger cars set. Looks and runs great but had some problems with the Blue Tooth signal on the LionChief app on the phone, gets cut off when the train goes behind a couple of rock pile mountains if you do not hold the phone high enough train stops and you have to reconnect. The LionChief remote works better do not have to lift it as high but still looses the signal. So we have taken the the height down on the rock piles will give it another try this weekend. The CN Green engine and CN Orange Caboose are Weaver 2 rail brass with TMCC trying it on the large dual gauge layout, ran very well here.

Real busy day at work so only a quickie......in the same vein as my “Scrounging” last week......can anyone identify the source of the “air-conditioning unit” on the building on the left?
Have a great weekend, folks!

Last Wednesday, at my club, I ran my new (to me) N&W J Class Locomotive with my Williams Powhatan Arrow Cars. The new engine runs great. I brought my old conventional J to take pictures to use in my add since I want to sell it and a club member bought the engine. Turned out to be a very productive evening.
