The cement for the concrete for Yankee Stadium was supplied by the Edison Portland Cement Company, which was founded by Thomas Alva Edison (yes, THAT Thomas Edison). To commemorate this, check these 2 Lionel Made in USA hoppers out.

Are the Lionel covered hoppers from Weaver tooling? I'm guessing they are since I don't recognize them. The paint schemes look nice enough too. I really like the METCA reefers also.
The 2017 Atlas"O" Golden Spike Club car arrived via USPS delivery today. I know Atlas has had many travails lately about manufacturing and delivery, but I'd like to give them kudos for the new (to Atlas"O") thumbtack couplers. The thumbtacks on these new trucks are actually pushed back inside and hidden by the outer wheel set. The operating mechanism has also improved over vintage Atlas"O" in that they operate freely like the Lionel rotating bearing truck 'push-tab" coupler did.
My cheers to Atlas for these improvements. And now the pictures.
Mike’s dog really seems to enjoy watching trains!

Where did you get the 1/43 59 Cadillac ambulance? I could use one to make an Ecto 1 model...

The new MTH RailKing Soo Line Extended-Vision Cabooses are an all new design. Compare the RailKing and the Premier models of Extended-Vision Caboose. The RailKing has no roofwalk and the Premier has a roofwalk.

Pics taken earlier this week in Cape Charles VA.......a short line that looks like it's seen better days. I suspect this is the old Pennsylvania RR line on the DelMarVa peninsula.
From Wikipedia:
As of May 18, 2018 Bay Coast Railroad hauled their last train before shutting down.

Cool photos and nice layout work folks!
Here's a quick shot of power sitting at the B&P engine house in Butler, PA on 5/27/18. I just liked the lighting that evening.
In the foreground is slug 120 mated with GP40-3 3120 and GP38 2039. To the right is one of the Brookville gensets, 1400 and GP40-3 3107.
I grew up near Clarendon, PA Does anyone know where I can buy the Tiona Refining Co car - 2017 Atlas 0 golden spike club car?
