From 2012. Lionel Legacy NS SD70M-2 that I later sold to forum member Chris Lord.
First, very rough shot of the farm country west of Port Royal PA. Still TONS of work needed to compete the scene...
A 2016 Christmas Layout memory
Some of my several Pittsburgh-related Miller signs. One in particular is my favorite - Westinghouse one. First off, both my Mom and Dad worked there. Secondly, Chris at first cancelled the idea of making it (lack of info about it) so I did research on it and submitted it to Chris, who obviously then decided to make it.

Still a few more....
Lots of great modeling ideas here.......
As always, gentlemen, thank you for all your efforts.....

Some great photos posted already per usual! Here are a couple shots of a fairly recent addition to my motive power roster...a K-Line ALCo RS3 in the CNJ's final red & white paint scheme.
I've only done a very minimal amount of weathering to her so far...but do plan to eventually change/add some scale details and complete the weathering job. If I like the way it turns out, I'm seriously considering replacing the TMCC/RailSounds system with DCS and MTH's sweet ALCo prime mover sound package.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Me too. Bill Waterson lives in Chagrin Falls, home of the Fireside Bookshop. He has been known to visit the shop and autograph some of his works and then put them back up on the shelves, much to the delight of the folks who buy his books.

My Williams/Bachmann 4-6-0 got new whitewalls on engine and tender wheels:
I "decided" that I "needed" to get myself a birthday present, despite not being big on birthdays. Anyway....this showed up today. The Lionel LC+ Camelback. It almost ran perfectly out of the box. The traction tires are on the front axle (!!) on this thing. The brake shoes were binding up the wheels/traction tires. Two quick turns with a screw driver and the brake shoes came off. The engine runs beautifully now. So far, very happy with it.
Last Sunday I had the rare privilege to be the engineer on the Lehigh Valley Coal #126 "Sadie" on the Walkersville Southern. WS runs on about 8 miles of track in Frederick County, MD, about an hour from Washington DC and Baltimore. Located just outside of Frederick, MD. #126 visits for 3 weekends every spring.
#126 is a 1931 Vulcan owned and operated by John and Barney Gramling of Indiana (Gramling Locomotive Works) and travels the eastern US to various RR museums and tourist lines. I was also a WS volunteer for many years and had the privilage to be taught to fire the #126 and learn coal firing. The Gramlings were very good to me and very, very good people. I've ridden behind both of their operating engines - Flagg Coal #75 and #126 and have some memorabilia for both engines, including a somewhat rare "LVC #126 Engine Crew" hat. The hat was given to me after doing a "**** good job" (and that is an exact quote!) firing several times.
I always enjoy my visits to LVHR club members layouts. Terry's layout is no exception. He has been expanding his hopper fleet and motive power stable. The FAs are WBB units and the hoppers are custom painted Weaver cars. The camp vans were un-assembled "kits" he picked up on E-bay. I'm being kind when I say kits. They were a royal pain to assemble!

I always look forward to your posts. Great photos of your layout and trains. Question, in the photo above whats with the O22 switch lantern between the station platform and the switch ? Do you have it to show the switch position for the track coming from the station platform ? Does it rotate ?

Thanks for sharing. Do you know the source of the chain link fence used in this module? Is it a Brennan fence (i.e., http://www.brennansmodelrr.com...=119&productid=6)?
Thanks.

Paul,
I have seen the 3504 and 2502 in Dover / Wyoming as well. Right after the lease of this line from NS, AVR 2005 & 2007 spent the first couple weeks in the area. SWP 3501 and 3503 have been the regulars bringing the trains in from the interchange with NS. 1555 arrived about six weeks ago, followed by 1561.
