I recently picked up a Lionmaster Class A to complete my "set". Here's a couple pix of "War Power" on the layout!
New building is up downtown! You can even see the other one under construction in a picture.
A candy store on the left side, lobby in the middle, and cigar shop on the right of the first floor. Above that, all apartments/condos. I still need to make signs for the stores.
In the background you can see the new 9 story building is almost complete. It will be lighted also but with frosted windows unlike the six story white one in the foreground with some inside details added.
This week in my series of Observation Cars, we feature one from an iconic passenger train, the Super Chief. K-line again demonstrates how it got it right with the beautiful shiny finish. Hope you enjoy this one.

A nice 2035 I picked up from a Forum member this week!
How how about this log loader from the same Forum member? It will go on the permanent layout. No room on the 4x8.
Also so got this 6110. I need to look for an appropriate tender.
He sent me some cars and switches too.
Thank you, Scott, for starting this up! It is my favorite thread of the week.....
Working under the layout, I was reminded that i own this nice O27 starter set from 1962 (New Haven, of course!)
Now, I am starting to see aresult of all my wiring....I just love "night shots"....
Lastly, I worked in the hospital all day yesterday......look what I found when I got to my office this morning!
....a package from the Muffins.....my J passenger set!
Have a safe and great weekend, everyone!

back when Dad passed his trains on to me, his 6110 barely ran. Mom and Dad were living in michigan at the time, he he found Brausser's I took the 6110 there, and Dean laid his hands on it and it's run great ever since.
Dave,
The 6110 looks great. The one I posted earlier needs a tender. I read I need a 6001T for it. Is that what you have? I like it.
A ho-hum 2014 Christmas Layout memory
BRETT is one of my 4 grandkids. The other 3 have their own support pieces.

there's no number on it Mark, but Dad only ever had two steamers, this one and a 1684. Bought from one of the stores in beautiful downtown Beaver Falls many years ago.
I remember the day we went to Braussers to pick it up, Dean had it looking like new.
ROGERW..............never seen a lash up like that one!
Now open the box and show us Peter.
But savor it, open it slowly and enjoy the moment.

My guess is you have the correct tender. Beaver Falls! Both our daughters considered going to Geneva College there, but one ended up at Grove City and the other at Malone in Canton.
3rd Rail Locomotive from back in the day--N&W Mountain type, the "Water Buffalo". One of my favorites. Needs upgrade to Command Control.

Great lash up and consist. Show us more......PLEASE
Thanks for posting

This shot ( an experiment mistake ) appears to have a bit of artistic value IMO.
It's of some modern era 2400 style Lionel cars that I outfitted with 12V LED strips. They're wired directly to AC and at slower, realistic speeds barely show under normal ambient lighting. So with room lights off and train at speed this is what my Sony point and shoot digital produced.
Just thought it was unusually interesting and worth posting.

My sister is stationed in Germany with the Air Force and I have not seen her or my nieces and nephews for the last 3 years. They got some extended time to come back to the states this summer. The youngest one heard I had trains so the first day they arrive it was off to my house. All the nieces and nephews (4) stayed the night and the youngest just wanted to watch and play trains all night. Even got him a step stool so he could be eye level.
