The engineer of this CP Dash 9 waits patiently while a crew member runs inside to pick up lunch.

"Small layout...Big dreams"
There seems to always be interest in the striking PRR T1 and new stories emerge whenever she is mentioned. Yesterday on another thread a member commented that "If the T1 couldn't run at 120 MPH she needed to be worked on". What a locomotive!
A 2012 Christmas layout memory
Well, PennDOT officially cleaned out the homeless camps under their overpasses here in the 'burgh over the last week.
Visible here is one of the newly cleaned out areas under the overpass:

Sam:
I purchased the MTH Premier ABBA combo back in 2002, so you might be correct with the issue date. I run the diesels with the Lionel 15" seven car Texas Special set. This makes a very nice passenger train.
PeterA: Good match!
Finally got some sun time and was able to uncover my outside set up and spend a bit of time running my favourite loads
drelo:
Beautiful pictures of those very nice Sante Fe F units.
Very nicely done, Charlie!
Great pictures everyone!
lazy summer days: a few reruns
Haven't run anything in awhile
Haven't run anything in awhile
Good morning, it's been awhile since I've posted any photos. Been busy I guess. I did finally, wrap up work on my Cronin Oil and Fuel Company and it is now on the railroad taking deliveries. It actually is the Delores Conoco Plant, a kit produced by Ragg's to Riches that I built because it fit the space I had available so well. It is the most challenging thing I've ever built. Hope you like it!
Here PRR F3 AB set #95 can be seen rumbling past the water tower outside Maryville. The F3's do not get nearly as thirsty as the old steamers. The benefits of dieselization are being seen even on the MARS.

Scott, maybe it would help if you didn't show the pictures to your wife after you take them.

Tex Steve:
I think that I recently read something about an upcoming 18" set of Texas Special passenger cars in the Niel Young series for the upcoming catalogs. Stay tuned.
