I'm serious. Can you spot why I took these last week to post here?

To use as a photo background ?

After a move and 2 1/2 years I finally have a new O - gauge line
The Beer Line! As I'm a Milwaukee Road fan and like Beer.
And Yes, it's nice to be back with all of you guys (and gals) and best train hobby in the world!
..
All that wood - smells like victory already!

Nice idea! However, not my intention. The musing can continue.

Yes, it certainly feels like a victory

In the last Picture, there is grey horisontal line, Maybe an old railroad grade ?
Frank; I would say for scenery vignettes.
I've got a shiny new module for National Capital Tracker use. It will get it's maiden show next weekend (Labor Day Weekend) at The College Park Aviation Museum. We run their Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I'm one of two organizers for the show. Great fun.
The following weekend we will participate in the Kensington MD train show. We share this with the local N-Trak club. We have a very large over and under layout planned. All funds go to support Kensington's Noyes Children's Library. Please come visit and say hello if you can.
This weekend I'm working on my new module, trying out exactly what I want to do with it. I'll probably do full scenery eventually but for now, I'm just going to stick with a more basic theme. The black upper level will house an MTH Bump and Go trolley. I need to cut that down to size and get that repainted and prepped this weekend as well.
I put green led's in the marker's on my lionel U36C
Today I picked up a companion to my Southern Hi-Nose GP30 #2601.
This N&W 522 was in fact visiting the NCTM during the NS Heritage Event a few years past. So happy Lionel made these units. Interestingly Lionel set the 522 to run long-hood forward.

You wait for a bus then they all arrive at the same time , well this Merc arrived today.
Almost forgot these arrived this week as well 3 vans 1 car & 1 digger all for $6! no idea were to put them but had to buy.
And a IXO Pierce Arrow for a lot more!
Is that a ROW on the other side of the field at the tree line?
Peter
There is a ROW in Monsoon's pictures..... but I'm wondering if he is trolling the forum!!!
It is. It was made for Lionel in the UK by A. E. Williams. I think the Lionel-branded pocket watch is also made by them.
Andy
more of that beauty please Larry!
Hi All,
+Was Berra right? See these close-ups, below...
+Putnam Division/Peter : a ROW ? What do you mean?
+tackindy - Huh?
+ ...and if Berra was right, then Spence was right, too. (Hhhmmmmm?)
+...and there was something true in what Laz said, also. (Hhhhmmmmmm?)

Day before my b'day (8/28), I arrived home to find this years' MTHRRC premier freight car, a NS 60-footer with a load of panel track (i.e. ScaleTrax):
Above you can see the two packets of add-ons. One is for Kadee couplers, the other is tie-downs for the track sections.
Closeup of the tie-downs and the hooks provided to connect them.
Closeup of the brakewheel-end details.
Closeup of the brake system details. The pipes from the air reservoir pass through the center sill and connect to the triple valve, and in turn to the brake cylinder. I suspect this is multiple pieces but I didn't try to test the theory. It's not as if I could improve things any further

Doug "Laidoffsick" brought his ATSF El Capitan passenger set down to AGHR today. Beautiful train of 3rd Rail/GGD passenger cars pulled by his weathered/detailed Lionel F3 ABBA set.

Thanks for making and posting that video, Matt. Doug's train was certainly a sight to see... those GGD passenger cars, and the detailing on the F3s, were just phenomenal.
