"May I ask where did you get the miner pushing the mine cart on the right? OR is that a scratchbuilt piece?"

Russ those are the ones I got but boy a lot cheaper.I paid around $14-$18 a couple years back!
Thanks Bo, also check out photos by Jim P.
Jim has posted information/photos on here and in OGR using his professional equipment and talent.
I just use an old Sony Cyber shot T-70 generally set to macro.
I bounce dual work /flood lights off an angled ceiling along with using the high intensity track lighting.
Many other photos are taken outside on several of the portable modules.
I’m considering a new Sony Alpha NEX –C3 very soon.

The sharpness of a photo can be tweaked using whatever photo editing program you use when importing photos into the computer. I use Aperture2 with my Mac.
The first photo below is unsharpened, just as it comes from the camera, the second has the sharpness tweaked. You may have to click on each and enlarge the images to see the differences better.
Just don't overdo the sharpening as that causes other problems with the image. Also, sometimes a little softness in a layout photo adds some atmosphere and increases the sense of distance and realism.
Jim
this became my new desktop backround....love having the tree up...
Great shots everyone!
Hi Steve, they look awesome. Thanks very much

First some "prototypical" Southern Pacific cars. I have no idea why they were painted this color originally, but a nice set of Walthers built cars. The coach will be repainted into PRR and 2D-P5 PRR trucks added as this kit is basically a P70. The observation will be painted into a CNJ business car as CNJ had a few very similar to this. The baggage will get the PRR treatment as well, but retain it's trucks to become a round roof B70 and finally there is a nice RPO that is labeled Pullman that I need to decide what to do with.
Secondly a perhaps not intelligent purchase at my TCA Division annual meet on Saturday, but I nice solid 2 rail loco to pull all that heavy freight that ran down the NY&LB in the mid 50's..... Sometimes I hate impulse buying, but the price was right!
It seems that Sunset currently dominates my 2 rail roster although I do have an unidentified 50's brass Pacific and a Kemtron GP7 to recondition.
