COOL!

Let's see if this one survives?!

Here's a shot from my old, old layout AKA Greenbrook 1 circa June 2010. I was playing around with a Canon T1i and decided there was nothing about that I liked. It was a klunk. This was also around the time I decided I didn't like my layout anymore and took some time off from it. I tore the main section of it down to the floor 6 months later and rebuilt it.

Anyway, here is a modified K-Line USRA Mikado set up to be a NYC H6 (right? - I forget now). On the adjacent track is a Mullet River kit.

LOL!  Most folks would die to have your throw-aways!

I would post photos of my layout, but I had enough humiliation on the golf course yesterday, don't need any here.  I did finish my last train project for a while so hopefully I'll get back to putting in/finishing some more scenery.

A work in progress. Engine service facility is somewhat complete. The girder bridge simply spans the tracks to the coal dock area. They service an industry featuring a Korber flat. This track is non operational and spans just the benchwork. It's used to disguise the fact that the tracks end a few feet past the coaling dock. The Lionel coal tower is a nice piece. I added some styrene to hide the fact that coal being hoisted to the bunker goes into a solid wall. Styrene was also added to the legs of the tower to give them a solid look. The water tower and sanding tower are from Weaver. Need some wood trim to separate the Scenic Express backdrops from the wall.

Love the water tower,  You said it is from weaver, is it brass.  Nick

Nick...if I may answer on behalf of Dave C., it is in fact a Weaver brass model.  The footings on the bottom of each leg as well as the center column are mostly underground on the prototype.  I have no idea why Weaver put such large footings on their tower.  I have the model and plan on cutting off most of the extra or sinking it down into the layout somehow.

Very nice pictures everyone!!
