Is that a ETS switcher? Hand rails and light look like it.
Just added original diaphragms to my Marklin set of sleeping and restaurant cars, they are not easy to find as they are a hundred years old, next step will be original lighting units,
Have a nice tinplate weekend, Daniel

I didn’t put that in my original post but yes it’s a 3 rail ETS.
In their later years (around 1930) Bing made this platform with barriers which I bought last week. I suppose it is from a cheap range since it is rather flimsy made from thin tinplate but is has the Bing trademark. It measures 24 * 10 * 11 cm. The size of the controller house is such that it can be used for 1 gauge. The sign board does not show a station name.

New acquisition: Marklin 2105/1 freight station (1908-12), with embossed and hand painted brick and stone walls.
1933 American Flyer set #1301RT Rail King
Catalog cut
Set contents
Shocking as it may seem the catalog illustration and the set contents actually match!
...on the other hand, there were quality control issues even back then - must have been Monday morning on the decal line - decal off center on the flat car and decal with a noticeable kink on the caboose.

The ETS stuff run great, just keep the wheels clean. I have a 0-4-0 steam engine with a short tender with the knuckle couplers and it run great. I had to get two replacement boiler door for it and got then from The ETS factory. There on line catalog is interesting.
I was thinking McCoy I had just never seen one. Very nice!
Metropolitan Railway 150 Year Anniversary set by ACE / Darstaed. Wishing I had that Marklin freight station right about now.
That McCoy standard gauge switcher is tres cool, and Daniel's original Marklin diaphragm's are a great find.
My offering this week is American Flyer Set #5 Northwestern Passenger from 1938.

I finally got the headlight working on my AF #429 clockwork project - it was the last thing on the punch list:
This week I have a little bit of Americana leaving your shores for life in the Aussie Bush
Say goodbye to a little Lionel 1506L Clockwork Locomotive and 1502 tender set America ...
From 1934 I believe?
Enjoy!
Love this thread each week, but never seem to find the time to post in it! So here are some Bing bogie tank wagons I acquired recently, after years of looking and waiting. They are from very late in Bings production, the reprint catalogue page from the 1930 catalogue being the earliest reference to them I can find. Also of interest, is that the Shell and Standard tanks are export versions, lacking the full German markings of the Dapolin example.
Last week, I had found only small trains. This week a little bit bigger.
Bing station 60/649 from 1930
Bing station 60/61. Was made in 4 different colours, this is the last, made around 1930/32
Heinrich Fischer station, made around 1935
Is really small for 0 gauge.

I too love those Marklin Benzinfass. They compliment the scene. I have two that my father gave me - he bought them when he was a child. I'd like some more but they sell for a lot of money these days. The scale is more like standard (spur 1), but they still look great.
