Speaking of orange...Got these Jerry Loman Sunset standard gauge cars on the way.

Seller claims they were from Arno's collection

Orange trains always have a special appeal, I restored this poor Yves 3235 some years ago in orange, non original color but the loco was in very bad shape and the trim is repro so it is just a fun piece.

got this 820 off Dennis Holler. Looked to be the the green version, but under the flaking paint was terra cotta. But in true Walt Hulsweder tradition, since the paint shop had green in stock....

the frame was still presentable, so it just got a cleaning. Need to add one lens to the ever growing list to Jeff Kane

Great Dave!  Looks a lot better than it did for sure. 

these cuties found there way to my house,,,,,i love,,,did I say I love flyer lithography ,for the age these are really nice,,,needs some tlc as always,,,even 2 still have the labels ,did these come in a steam or electric set or both,terry

My guess is a 4654 electric cab.

Just noticed that this thread already started yesterday! That must be a long weekend!

The Czech company Merkur made some trains for the British market including some British Pullman cars. These were not received very well in England but I think they are nice, although as everything Merkur makes they have a Merkur look to them.

Here they run with a Bassett-Lowke by Corgi  locomotive:

Always liked the look of Marx Nickel Plate with the 3/16 trucks.  Finally found some and did the conversion. Need to do a Penn boxcar next.

Seeing your Marx conversions and others, and how nice they look, got me to wanting to do the same. I have the State of Maine Boxcar and that one is also a looker. I used a dremal tool to cut off the original wheel tabs to convert them. Is that how you do it too. 

Nice job on the 820 searchlight car, looks factory fresh.

That's how I did my PRR cars. I have numbers 37950 thru 37959 modified to scale trucks. All the numbers were made with litho doors, but for me 37956 was the hardest to find. 37956 is easy to find with the opening doors and is the only one made that way.

Another new 390E.  I was inspired by Jim Z's video...

Every once in a while I enjoy making up and running a train that American Flyer never marketed.

Here is a #3190 Type V Cast Iron Engine from 1931( a rare repaint in the collection) paired with a #3193 Type VIII tender from 1934.

They are pulling two #1120 (variation D) passenger cars from 1928,

and the matching #1120 Observation (Variation A) from 1928.

I think it makes a pretty little passenger train.

Now that you've all learned about Kibri take a look at the modification I made on my  layout.  I moved the Lionel 45N and Highway Flashers and put the Kibri 52-4 in its place.  So I now have 3 larger Kibri stations--the 52-15, 52-3 and 52-4 on the layout.  The KBN also got moved into the corner.  NO MORE ROOM!!! As a bonus. Couple of shots of the Kibri scale I acquired from Ebay ex-Phil Weiss auction.

Those Merkur coaches are quite NICE! Having just gotten back into European LGB models, I am also partial to Czech-produced UK equipment! That Corgi BL loco is also a jewel! THANKS, as always, for sharing! Hope all is well in the low country! ☺

Bob Carlson came by today and we got all 4 lines running with 5 trains running on the new layout. This is my first time using only the iPhone software to create the video:
