Another cool bunch of photos Steve

 

I was looking at some old photos the other day and noticed all the workmen in the picture had hardhats with full-round brims and all were unpainted metal color.

Steve do you ever sleep? I can't keep up....too many irons in the fire!

Hey Steve there is no way to get the pallets out of the cars, the two in front need an entry so you can get them out without using the plate for the forklift.

 

The scene is incredible though nice job.

Good point David1 unfortunately the load was governed by and designed to cover those ugly bolted in metal center weights Weaver used on the older cars.

My 3r customer was quite happy to have a car for his C.C. facility on the layout.

Sometimes satisfaction over accuracy is more important. 

Steve, is the forklift in your photos commercially available, or did you scratch build it? I can't seem to find any O-scale ones that are suitable for the 1950's-70's era!
