I have bought a lot of K-Line cabooses from them. They are always in pristine and or new condition. If they have what your looking for go for it.

Used to buy a lot of Williams from them. No complaints. Good selection and reliable shipping.

If you're picky on pricing they may not always be lowest price but as a solid train retailer they're a thumbs up.

I have bought several items from them and always great service. And they are also a Forum sponsor!  

I’d purchased several items from them in years past, including Williams locomotives before I went to all command control. Items always arrived in great condition and performed well. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Bought from them numerous times. No issues, easy to use website. Keep in mind they are a West Coast shop shipping via USPS can get expensive.

I've bought from them several times for mostly HO items.  Do wish they offered specials or discounts from time to time, as they tend to be more expensive than other places.  However, I tend to find items there that I do not find elsewhere and the website is updated immediately with purchases.  Would also be nice if they reach out to repeat customers for feedback or just to say "Hi".

I'm actually planning another order with them in the upcoming days.

thanks to all that replied to my post.i have noticed they have a huge amount of atlas 0 3 rail.this has caught my eye

I bought a lot of K-Line engines, passenger cars, freight cars and cabooses from the Western Depot a number of years ago. Kevin Shelton is a great owner and everything I ever ordered from the Western Depot was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

I was gonna buy K Line Metrolink cars from them but settled with a MTH Metrolink engine and six cars from Brady's Trains. They were responsive with my emails and paypal invoice request.

WD was a reliable vendor for the O-gauge tubular three-rail low profile O42 switches made by K-Line by Lionel  I needed for my emerging L-shaped layout, which is now finished. Although now hard to find, they are nearly identical to the Lionel version of this product, but the K-line version was offered at a lower price. Excellent follow-through on my online order for six of these switches. FYI, shipment from the west coast wasn't a downer for me even though I live in the heartland.  Five stars for WD!

I'm about a 3 hour drive from Western Depot, so I usually order online or call them. They have a lot of inventory, and carry a nice selection of O gauge. They did have K-Line make special cars just for Western Depot from western railroads, for instance what else, Western Pacific. So you might find some unusual stuff shopping online. If you're on the east coast or mid-west, shipping could get a little pricey. If you find what you want online, give them a call and see what they can do for you for shipping.

Found many items from Atlas there I couldn't find at other shops. Transactions were smooth and pleasant.

Have purchased from them in the past, no issues. I think their web site navigation is top notch. Like the ability to select road names! I check out their site regularly.

Bought from them since they opened, never a problem and they have alot of discontinued items also.
