I found this photo of a B&O EM-1 on line. I was looking for various Black and White high resolution B&O photos for my computer back ground image. I set this one and it looks great. I start looking more and now I see what looks like a guy with a steaming mop walking toward what I think is the back of a diesel loco, or some kind of barn shaped passenger car.

Questions

1 What is "mop guy" up to?

2 what is this thing I cant identify

It looks like the rear side of a shark nose diesel

Not sure about the mop guy.

That looks like the back of a Baldwin Sharknose locomotive or B unit, but I am no expert.

We'll see what the "experts say"
