A couple years back, I rode the Acela from Philadelphia to Washington D.C. Around Ivy City, I believe, I snapped these pictures of some old Amtrak car shells. In particular, I would like to know what that Amfleet-esque coach is. Is it an old Metroliner which was not refurbished? Or the stripped guts of an SPV 2000?

From the photos, i'd say that they are old "Heritage Fleet" cars, acquired from one of the RR's that joined Amtrak in the beginning. Looks like their interiors and windows have already been stripped out prior to scrapping.
