How about a SP P-9 Pacific to haul the GGD Harriman sets.

How about a SP P-9 Pacific to haul the GGD Harriman sets.

Winston -
2 of your list of 4 desired "compounds" were not Compound locos; the C&O/VGN 2-6-6-6
and the SP AC-9 were both Simple Articulateds. The other 2 did, indeed, use their steam twice and were Compounds.
Mr. Lionel, per AC-9 - please note:
I have the Lionel AC-9 from a few years back - which modeled the original coal-burning version. Vision/Legacy would not get me to buy another (maybe a "natural" Pilot model...?)
of those - though it is my favorite articulated - but a proper rendition (including tender - some were actually different tenders, not just oil-converted) of the later converted-to-oil-burning version would get me very interested.

BigJohn - are you sure that you want (and I quote) "a full scale Cheesie steam special..."
"Cheesie?" I thought that it was spelled "cheesy".
You are Right! I meant articulated. How could I be so Stupid!
My desire for the Erie overshadows them all and has clouded my judgment.
1. O Scale intermodal stack cars (none produced by Lionel since 2010)
2. More rolling stock with freight sounds.
3. A Vision line hotbox/hotwheel car, that can be turned on/off with Legacy and TMCC
4. More Legacy ATSF diesel engines
Brill Bullet Trolleys
McKeen Cars
Thats all.
Something that doesn't die.
If I have money, 3751 would be nice
Scale Reading Hoppers from the 1940's. I don't care if they are composite hoppers or Fish Belly Hoppers, as long as they are correct and have a build date in the 40's.
I don't want there to be a Legacy AC-9 w/Whistle steam! Because I will order it, and I've burned through enough $$$ in the last year with the Cab Forward, Big Boy, LCS items, and a few other items I've picked up.
Love to see something Legacy in steam with Lehigh Valley or Reading road name. Hopefully no more than $349 street price - doesn't need to be scale for me.
Same thing I'ved asked for for years. A Rutland Milk Train set. A Legacy 10 Wheeler with 4 milk cars and a woodsided caboose. With all the northeast milk cars Lionel produced over the years. Many rode the Rutland rails before heading for Boston or NY. Seems like a no brainer as all the tooling exists.
Revamped NYC woodside caboose with finer details.
B&A Berkshire in a new rd. no. with the tender from the L2a Mohawk
Rutland light Mountain. Don't know what happened to the tooling as they were offered years ago.
New Tooled NH I5 Hudson with whistle steam.

I sure hope so. I don't need all those troublesome bells and whistles of the first release. Just a simple Acela with Legacy or Lionchief + control. That would be great. And some Amtrak Viewliners.
I'd like to see more LionChief Plus engines. A GG1, more F3/F7s, maybe a LionMaster style T1 4-4-4-4.
Oh well talk is cheap......and fun so here is my daydream. I would like a scale Colorado Midland 4-6-0. Let me hold my breath. Odd-d
1. I'll add another vote for the Acela, done in a more reliable fashion
2. Scale sized Mi-Jack container lift that operates on TMCC/Legacy; I'd even go for a remake of the old one with the remote control capabilities as long as the unit can handle scale sized containers
3. Amtrak Genesis in Phase V paint, superliners in Phase V
4. Amtrak Siemens ACS-64

I second the motion on your last sentence.
My simple wish is for Amtrak Viewliners... Amtrak Viewliners... Amtrak Viewliners!
Did I mention Amtrak Viewliners?
Lion master Union Pacific FEF and 4-12-2 to go with Lionmaster Big Boys and Challengers. Also, Lionmaster Challengers with smoke deflectors.
Run the Route 66 buildings again.

Anything Conrail!!!
Vision Line Allegheny WITH all the bells and whistles
In all honesty, less complaints. That's always good.
More autoracks (can never have enough!) and more VL freight cars (maybe some Pacemakers please.)
I remember seeing a prototype of a new ZW transformer at York about 15 years ago. I believe it was called a "Yardmaster". It had both Legacy and Conventional controls built in it. Very impressive unit that I hope they might consider producing.
Thanks, Phil
I would love to see some accurate Reading steam models, other than Pacifics and T-1's.
I would love to have a pair of 2-8-0 Consolidation steam locomotives that I could double-head in front of a large coal drag!

Somewere, sometime, someone will do justice to the "General".
The "General" was already done to perfection by SMR Trains. I wouldn't hold my breath for a Legacy scale version from Lionel. This engine, in scale, is tiny. When SMR did it, they had to put the motor in the tender because there was no room in the engine, and in order for the owners to add command (and sound), the electronics had to be put in a trailing boxcar. With the smaller motors and boards available now, command could probably added to the tender, but it would be at the cost of pulling power.

Perform 10 minutes of research and offer a Southern heavy Mikado with a correct road number and feedwater heater location. Then the buyer could at least assume the task of relocating the generator and bell assembly with replacement parts..
Either Southern Ms-4 4848 [Worthington FWH] or Ms-4866, second picture below with Elesco Feedwater Heater atop smokebox, would reflect a semi-correct model.
[photos from Ties Magazine's 5 part series on Southern Heavy Mikados].
LionChief Plus in both Strasburg and Polar Express. Also an open air Strasburg car (as in "Hello Dolly") or more SRR freight and possibly a New Hope and Ivyland diesel.
Something else I hope for: A variety of cars (to include express) with the IR transmitter for Sensor Track operation. Even better, an IR transmitter upgrade kit we can put in the cars we want (or engines/tenders). I know, Lionel says that would be hard to do because of transmitter-sensor distance or some other excuse, but it would be nice.

Yeah!! One without all the wiz bang infrared and leaning body features that never worked with the first one they came out with.
Just make a simple, dependable $500 (or less) ACELA !!!

...
Little did Lionel know their Acela would be true to the prototype in every way.
