I would like to add some sidewalks around my existing streets on my layout this year, the streets on my layout are Lionel super streets. any suggestions or advice on what works/looks best with super streets? I've seen some pre made sidewalks but none of them have curves, they are all straight. I would like something that will curve with the super street curves, and i figured this would be the best place to ask. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I use pieces of foam board and cut curves with an exacto knife. I use a glass or cup to trace the curves, depending on the size of the curve. Depending on how wide the sidewalk is to be, I score it and the balance of the foam board is where the building or structure sits with landscaping around the edges up to the base of the building or structure. I paint the sidewalks a light gray and also score lines across to replicate the expansion joints one sees in real sidewalks.
Look in my book, pages 73 - 77 talk specifically about making sidewalks, parking lanes, etc., alongside 'Streets roads and I show some examples, etc. You can make them cheaply and yet very realistic. If you can't buy a copy on Amazon you can download it from my website for free.
