Great video Pete! ....A Niagara on the Put-Put....?....I thought only F12’s and the occasional worn out K class roamed those roads....just kidding! ...glad you enjoyed your snow day...........Pat
Hey stop stealing our snow and send it north nice video by the way.
Glad we dont get much snow down here. Looks like Virginia and N,C are in for a few snow days.
"Snow (cold) days" are for mowing the yard, like today. Last mowing I do till late February. "Train days" are June thru August. Too hot to do most things that are not water related.
Gotta love it! I agree it's a perfect way to spend a snow day.

What I did some years ago (lately it does not snow anymore here):

Very nice, Fred, what gauge or scale is that, O, G?
Is it 2 or 3 rail?
Is it really run by live steam as stated in the video's title?

It is indeed live steam (gas fired) running on 1 gauge track.

very nice Peter.
Also unusual that the storm didn't head up the coast and blast us here in LI. Mind you I'm not complaining, I still need to finish my Christmas lights....
Forget the lights Bob!! Run trains!! It's a novelty for them down in Richmond. I know from first hand experience. Here as in LI it drags on and on............ That's why Peter moved there and stayed. I was fool enough to move back!
I made sure I didn't have to put up lights this year!
I wish I had a snow day... It would have to snow real bad in order for work to close though. I'll schedule a vacation day in January or February when we get killed with snow.
I’ve been there, Dave. Many years. It’s called ‘essential employee’. You wouldn’t want to be called a ‘Non-essential employee’ would you? LOL
"Snow day"?
Peter
Yes, I could have run trains.
But, I was just lazy and loved relaxing watching the snowfall.
Especially since I'm retired.
