Help Again

What have you used to attach track, o gauge tubular, the old stuff, to pink board?

The thickness will be 1 and 4-5 inch.  I have used drywall when the base was plywood but that won't work here.

There will be 3/16 foam roadbeds under track. There will be 90-100 ft

Several years ago an o-gauge friend in East Tennessee was faced with trying to stabilize Gargraves Flextrack curves over 2" extruded foam. With a spade bit we drilled 3/4" dia.x1-1/4" deep holes in the foam, placed and white-glued 3/4" x 1-1/4"pine dowels.

Dowels to receive track screws just long enough to penetrate through tie and cork to catch the dowel and hold the track bend in place. The plan was to remove screws after glue-ballasting in the future. I lost touch when he relocated about 4 years later but I assume it worked well for that period since he never complained.
