Good Day,
Several years ago I thought a person was going to build the SD45. What ever happen to the SD45 builder?

That was S Scale America. They are still with us, but also impacted by the rift in China. Stay tuned, I would imagine.
The fat lady will be singing soon I was told. I know the gentleman doing the die work for the SD45 and it is top notch work. I hope to talk to him in person this O scale West show. I should say S Scale West since its a co-scale convention.

Since he had the model on display with parts to be used on the model it should be ok to post these. The model had the SP nose on it and he has a cab with the L window on the engineers side to go with it.
The truck side frames are great looking, didn't take a picture of the unfortunately.
Greg
That looks REALLY good...

Good Evening,
Thanks for the news. Has a production time frame been announced? late 2014? 2015?

No date given but soon was all I was told. I didn't get a chance to talk to Ron about that.

Frank, looks nice but a couple of details caught my eye. The stripes are upside down on your drawing and Rio Grande had the same stripes on the rear of the unit also. Now your lettering is spot on. How did you do that?
Greg
Hi Greg,
Thanks for the information on the correct the color scheme. I'll start working on the new one!
