any idea how to replace this headlamp? The loco, does not match the instructions. Instructions show a typical bulb you turn.

Can anyone help me out on this?
I appreciate it, thanks.
I have never seen any think like that before. Is it a LED? Can you take it out and snap a couple of pictures from different angles?
It looks like an led in a clear housing to me.
One time, years ago, I came across an led on a non-train board that wasn't soldered in place, but had the legs plug into two holes on a stand. A firm pull removed it (not hard, just firm)
If you don't see signs of an led soldered to the board, you may want to give the center portion a slight tug.
That is a P3 engine. They started using those funky LEDs a few years ago on the smaller engines.

Is the wiring OK? LEDs usually last a long time. Is there power to the LED? You could replace it with almost any white LED that will fit into the clear holder.
Call MTH Midge and ask for a headlight?

That appears to be a red 261e with ps3. I don't have the headlight but I accidentally snapped off one of those little plastic legs that goes down to the lower lights myself. If you call Midge and find something out please let me know.
That's a call to MTH, there are no on-line parts listings, so ordering the part without help is pretty difficult.
