I notice a lot of ebay listings for used realtrax well above new MSRP. Some is solid rail and some is newer hollow rail. I'm considering switching to Atlas 3 rail track and that's expensive, but it looks like some realtrax is getting expensive also. Anyone noticed that?

You have to do your homework when you shop e bay, some sellers charge over list price.

That seems to be very true.
I noticed that those listings with solid rail seem to charge a premium. I guessed it was because the solid rail is no longer being produced. Could be other realtrax sellers are unwittingly following suit, whether they are selling solid rail or not.
Some of the problem is the fees for ebay . They continue to charge more and margins are tight on MTH items. So it maybe to justify them selling it so they make a little for their effort.
Many thing on Ebay sell for more than the MSRP. I have seen 135 watt power houses with a price of 100.00, Cab 1 for 150, etc.
With ebay you need to plan ahead for your projects and know what the going rate is. All IMO; Don
