I am a bit confused. Is MTH Rail King 1 Gauge the same as O Scale? Do 1 Gauge boxcars run on Lionel Fastrack or does it have its own track size?

At first, I thought MTH Premier size boxcars and Rail King 1 Gauge are the same thing, but now I believe I am mistaken.

What is the deal with Rail King 1 Gauge? Thanks for helping me to understand the difference.

Western Hemisphere O scale (2 or 3 rail) is 1:48; British and most (?) European O is 1:43.5.

"O" scale is/was actually "0" (zero) scale, hence its relationship to:
#1 scale, which is a proper scale at 1:32; this is what MTH uses with its Large Scale
items. Very nice.

"G gauge" is pretty much anything they feel like at the time - kinda
like 3-rail O, it has a "toy" component.

No, you can be sure that they won't fit on O gauge track, and they would sure wreak havoc with your bridges and tunnels even if they did fit!
