What is the difference between the 2014/15 and the 2016 "new" 4-6-2 Pacific LionChief Plus engines???

the "NEW" stands for the NEW roadnames from the original release of LC+

I understand that for the new engines,  but they have "new" beside all engines including the CP, SP and Alaska that were in the 2014 catalog so not new! ??  And it says "ALL NEW!" in the midst. Just wondering if something is different about the new Pacific vs old?

I'm curious if I'm missing something here?  I don't have a catalog in front of me, but $429 seems about right for list price.  I don't think anyone is actually paying that, however, with dealers in the $350 range... but that is on the new ones as well.  

It is interesting to question if thee are differences, after all it is marked new...You'd think it would have been mentioned somewhere if there were improvements... Are the cab numbers the same?

I don't think they will be scaled size for the Mikados, Pacific and Hudsons.  On pgs. 108-09, they are sized at 19 inches.
