My favorite scents is Grape and Gingerbread. I will use Hot Chocolate and Coffee in my cabooses and bunkcars. Even my 7 1/2 Scale caboose uses JT Mega Steam for its Smoke unit. The only Stuff like the Coal, Diesel and Oil steam stuff I use is for my big boy and it is the premium smoke.

hot chocolate, ginger bread, Christmas pine, coffee.
Holiday Berry
Original Cedar
Coal fired.
I have bought JTs NADA but usually use my own. Very light hot oil smell, non-irrtitating and clean. Plus cheap. I wouldn't want food or outdoor smells except to cover up pet odors or something.
Root Beer.
I use the unscented. Just as well, I have lost most of my sense of smell anyway. Probably the result of a lifetime of 3rd world living, tropical diseases, etc. but the doctors don't know. I used the coal scented for a while but when I ran my steamers at the toy train museum with it, every 15 minutes some visitor would rush up in a panic to tell me that my engine smelled like it was on fire. (Of course it does, doofus, it's supposed to smell like burning coal!) So I stopped using the coal scent. I use the hot chocolate in the Christmas season for the benefit of the visitors, but honestly I can't tell the difference.
Good Grief

Well, my only experience with coal scented stuff is that it smells like burning Rubber. So I tried the beer and to my dad it smells like a day old frat party.
I use different scents for different locos. Licorice, bubble gum, cotton candy, root beer, gingerbread, pumpkin pie, vanilla. I also have others, but this gets outta hand.
Christmas pine, pina colata, pumpkin pie main one tho is nada
Smoke Pellet and Grandpa's Pipe. Anyone used the bacon and eggs smoke yet?
Apple
Have they brought out "body odor" and "old beer breath" yet " ??
Nada, no engine ever belched the scent of coffee or bacon and I'm not a rivet counter, it just doesn't seem right.
I have read that old timers heated their food on or near a hot boiler so a little burned food smell might be OK. Especially coffee.
Christmas Pine and Hickory
Cranberry woods
Coffee and Vanilla. Morning and evening!
Just for the record, NADA is unscented - that does not mean it has no scent. I didn't like the Lionel smoke fluid and tried NADA. It has less of a smell but still smells like something (unpleasant to me).
Christmas pine, Hot Chocolate and coffee.....yum...
Cedar, Vinella and Christmas Pine
my vanilla never really had a true vanilla scent. Many spectators wave it away from their faces & don't like it. I wish I could find a nice smeller so we could run it with people around.
Maple Sugar, Cotton Candy, Licorice, & Cinnamon Roll.
