It's been 7 or 8 months since I've run any trains  over at Jacks large super mode layout. We upgraded to 4.3 back in April  and then got side tracked with other stuff. Anyway We're back running and we're having some minor problems. The headlight on some engines keep going out . Whether it's a directional change  or smoke unit on/off something is causing it?? I've also noticed some engine will not  respond to the odd remote .  Engines with the same ID in all remotes. We have 6 or 7 remotes and every engine has been added to tiu #1.Yes the layout need a good cleaning so perhaps that's part of the problem. PS the super mode scrolling issue is much better.

Gregg,

Welcome back! It's good to see you posting again

That's a bug in DCS 4.30. It happens occasionally when turning smoke on or off. The "quick fix"is to do a Feature Reset of the engine.

That's not a DCS 4.30 issue that anyone has reported previously. I would suspect, perhaps, a loose transceiver board, or some engine-related issue with regard to that particular remote.

I'd suggest tethering to see if it's the former or deleting and re-adding the engine to see if it's the latter.
