WHAT'S UP WITH MTH?

Yes this is part the problem I had too. MTH's catalog shows 2 numbers available 6216&6412,but the product locator shows 6412&6416. I used those numbers when ordering,so the mixup. I don't know whether to keep this & use it on another part of the layout or try to swap or sell for 6412. I lose money on trying to resell. my question is in a lashup,gow does the DCS know the difference between 2 6216 diesels in programming?

And that is part of the problem, the local hobby shops that are disappearing.  I always enjoyed being able to visit and even if I didn't purchase anything on that particular day it was nice to chat and such.  On line has it's place but I sure miss the personal experience of a face to face conversation/purchase ect.

That's what's started troubling me only on a much larger scale,O Scale in general. 

With Atlas dropping to 4 instead of 6 cars in their 4750 line,as well as when the older well established dealers with the lower prices disappear,who will be able to buy O products anymore? Prices are way out for me in many cases even with the older dealers on the Atlas 5161s as is. I've sold my higher priced items in HO what's left now may or may not sell at all.(?) I have no weekly income to spend on trains or anything not needed. My train sales in HO pay for my O Scale.

It makes a modeler scratch his head.

Where are you coming up with 4 road names? This is from the current offering of Trainman PS-4750 hoppers. I count 6 models.

FALCONSERVICE had this in a post I believe from Saturday or Friday that they're dropping back to 4 roadnames. 4 names per year's pretty skimpy given the time span & variety of cars that were built.
