what's up with the product locator?

I've found that if you enter the product on the homepage, not the actual product locator, it shows more items. Weird findings on the locator.

It's been doing this stuff for weeks.  No matter what search data I enter, either in the Advanced Search or just the Plain-Old Search, the system comes up with the answer, "No Items Found" or words to that effect.  If I google for "MTH (whatever)" the item will generally come up as a link to the MTH website and the item sought.

In other words, Product Finder is busted but good.  I would have emailed but the only person who answers email is the saintly Midge and I wasn't going to dump another fiasco on her.

Oh, could be an issue with the HTTPS and your web browser. I ran into my web-browser refused to load the MTH website. Not sure where to go from there.

That's as bad as the "5 or less in stock" letter that went out yesterday. In G Gauge it showed 3 Big Boys in stock....But the MTH product locator showed none. An email to MTH Sales confirmed none in stock.  

I tried using Microsoft "Edge", as opposed to Google Chrome, and had the same experience.

no, I don't think this has anything to do with the browser when the locator says no products found. I have to believe it's the search engine that is in the website.

They have reported issues with how that section is working.  The  Service Link to products no longer show the full data base.  So it has become much harder to find documents and sound files with out the specific product number.  G
