This is not a new issue with Firefox and Video on this (and other websites). I noticed this problem last year but didn't bother to mention anything as I noticed it was specific to Firefox and when I tested my video uploads in Chrome & Edge, they worked fine. The best thing to do is let Mozilla know they have a problem with their browser:

John:

What you just posted plays fine (now) on Firefox on my desktop. Was not able to play it before tonight.

What's amazing Allan is that it played one time for me, and then I tried to repeat it, it wouldn't play again.  Now I just came back and it plays again!  I have no idea what is going on, but whatever it is, it has something to do with Firefox!

For an more oddness, the one in the first post of the thread plays for me now.  Note that I did absolutely nothing to the computer, the settings, etc.

Just went back to your first post, John, and now it plays fine for me, as does the more recent post. Again, with Firefox. Not sure what is or was going on, but I'm sure no computer guru, so will leave explanations to someone far more qualified than I.

Yep, they all play fine for me now, I have no idea what is going on!  I didn't change a stinkin' thing, so it's something from the Outer Limits.

Here's why the videos play OK now. From Crowdstack Tech Support:

I have confirmed that Safari and the Windows version of Firefox do not support the h.264 high 10 (10-bit) encoded video that gunrunnerjohn originally posted. We have updated our video encoding options to force videos uploaded to Crowdstack to be re-encoded with 8-bit encoding. This should allow newly uploaded videos to play in Safari and Firefox on Windows.
There ya go. Problem solved.
I'm going to close this thread now.
