What season is it on your layout?  I would assume that 95% would pick summer and the rest fall.  Maybe some with winter scenes.

I was going to make it summer, as it is much easier to find figures in summer clothing, and there are plenty of convertibles out there.  I also have a boat launch in my harbor that I wanted to show someone launching their boat.

As some of you have followed my other thread I was thinking of tearing down and starting over.  I have since decided that I will keep my current layout until it is finished.

I haven't started any of my scenery yet except some plaster cloth.   I am honestly considering going with a very early winter scene.  Bare trees for the most part except for a few that still have brown leaves on them.  Water might have a thin coating of ice on it.  A little snow on the ground, tree limbs, and the roofs of the buildings here and there but not totally covered.

So do you model something besides summer and lets see photos of your seasons!

Here are a few scenes I did on my christmas layout back in 2009.  Now I do not plan to have this much snow on my current layout.   Looking for more of a mid November scene, where it isnt uncommon to get some snow in Michigan.  But then again I am doing the Lake Michigan coast and lake effect snow can cover the ground pretty good in November.

I guess that mine would be late summer, early fall.  I have a few trees of color, placed around but most are still in summer greenery.  Much a I'd like to try for a winter scene the thought of dumping white something all over the place, and then having to scoop it all up, later, really scares me.
