I've got what appears to Silver Spike and a number of additional 0-27 cars, all appear to be plastic, smooth sided, in what I think is Phase I/II paint.  Can anyone point me to a comprehensive list of what cars were offered with it and to add to it?  Would be nice to know the proper names for these also since none of them came in a box.

So far I've got:

ALCO FA2

ALCO FB2

Baggage

Combine

Coach

Diner

Vista Dome

Observation

I'm not trying to collect every number, though if I happen upon one I don't have in another number for a great deal I'd probably pick it up.  If someone has cataloged the numbers and schemes it would be cool to see.

A few months back I chanced into a Phase III dome with a different number from the one I had in a $10 bag of Lionel stuff at a resale shop and I kept it.  Nothing wrong with a little mixing.

If you are referencing the Silver Spike set circa 1988, you have it all.  The original set included the following:

Powered FA-2 - 8903, Dummy FA-2 - 8904, Combine - 16013, Vista Dome - 16014, Observation - 16015.

The separate sale add on cars were:

Baggage - 16033, Passenger - 16023, and Diner - 16048.

I always liked that set for some reason,,,never bought it,,,could  you post some pictures please, thanks

Well, it's 5 years later, but I'm finally back with pictures of all the cars and a short video.

Thanks again to @drelo for the identifications! Turns out my A and B unit were from the Lake Shore Limited set and add-on so they had matching matte black.

Glad to hear you got all of the cars you wanted and are still enjoying such a great set. I like how you added the Amtrak station. I’ve been eyeing that one.

Santa brought me and my brother the Lake Shore Limited set one Christmas with the B unit and all of the extra cars. Still have it! It was one of the few Amtrak items available in O gauge back then and I always wished I could have gotten an F40PH or AEM 7 like the lucky HO guys had. It and the Silver Spike are fun sets and strong runners.

Merry Christmas and thanks for posting the story and vid!
