Would you like trains, buildings/scenery or automobiles? Any scale new or old.

I sent a text message to Santa Claus and asked him for a Vision Line GG1
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Any of those items would be fine and I prefer new, also going more toward the scale sized items and less of the traditional sized items.
My grandson wants a C&O Yellow Belly to pull his C&O Streamliners, and and Aux Tender for his dGs4 Daylight.

But the Sphinx is easier to find! Probably cheaper too...
I want a tee shirt of the old Carstens "I'm Melvin" poster...
I'd like a nice clean 675 w/tender.
A steam locomotive in C & O livery. I'm not holding my breath though!
I really want a Lionel SD60e Honoring Our Veterans. And then I found out this morning that my wife ordered it for me yesterday and I'll have it by Christmas. This will be my first ever (new) model train locomotive! Legacy compatible with all the bells and whistles. I haven't been this excited about a Christmas present in at least 20 years.
I've spent the last 2 months building my first layout (O gauge shelf train) and purchased a very very used Lionel PW 602 switcher to test the track out. By this Monday, I'll have a full scale diesel pulling my ever growing consist around those sexy 072 curves.
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!
I picked it out myself and its going to be a bit of work. I had the option of picking out something new but I love the look of this old kit so that will be it. I won the auction a few days ago and it has arrived and dissassembly/reassembly has begun. Its looking much better and I just got the motor to run. To quote the seller "total disaster" and "doesn't run"
I picked out some Prewar American Flyer for Christmas. The pieces don't really go together, but that doesn't matter! I found a 4644, a 4331, a 4332, a 3195, a 3141, and a 3142. And the cool part is the engines have been re-wheeled, like my 3015 and 3110.
A nice digital multimeter.
my first post in over a year wow! i most likely won't get anything train related other then my yearly greenburg guide, but on my list are a pw berk, a 1999 lionel service station set, or any of the cal stewart live savers tankers, so other then the berk not easy stuff to find.
A finished layout......

Just a FYI, I got one of these a few months ago, if you haven't yet picked one. Tekpower Smart Meter TP5000 6000 Counts True RMS Multimeter
We used Flukes at work and I have missed mine since I retired at the end of 2011. I had a 179 which is around $300, but just couldn't justify that for home use. This one has the analog bar (shows things missed by the digital readout) along with the digital read out and it's true RMS. Also has a few other nice features, seems to work pretty well and didn't break the bank like the Fluke 179 would have.
My list is long and engines are last on my mind
1. (2) 4 Packs of Menards Scale Flatcars
2. MTH Railking T roofed steel N&W Caboose
3. MTH Railking Bay Window SP Caboose
4. (20-25) 2 bay Coal hoppers
5. MTH Railking GS4 and Auxiliary Tender
6. Lionel Legacy SP Consolidation
7. (3) Dallee BCRs for the Legacy Locos
I know that at least 2-3 are possible to get
....and Santa pulled the trigger on eBay last night! Thank you Santa. You're welcome, Gilly.
Last car in the set. I have them all now....
Nobody makes the trains l want, but model automobiles for my pre-1941 period seem to be being made in greater and more frequent numbers. I just grabbed several as a present to me. Hey, if the train people do not want my money, others have their hands out ....

How is the Tekpower line of products? I checked them on Amazon and I see that they also make variable power supplies. For Christmas I am looking for both.

The new Madison Hardware book, and the two latest OGR layout videos will be just fine.

The meter is the only Tekpower item I have. It is not bad for $50, still working very well and I am happy with it. However, I don't have anything better to compare it to, it's the best meter I have. All the others I have are about like the free Harbor Freight models or maybe only slightly better.
A bundle of $20 or a ho gg1 DGLE w/5 stripes.
