Just got the new MTH Lackawanna SD24 Its a fantasy scheme and beautiful Love it But does anybody know why the number boards are not lit and blank black. Looked at all the other released SD24's and they all have number boards The feature list says they are supposed to be lit also

The "Lackawanna" SD24 was a fantasy paint scheme created by Steamtown (pre park service). I'll have to look at some old videos to see about the number boards. I worked with these on the Pocono Connection back in the early days of Scranton operations. Our train was parked in the old auto rack yard at Pocono Summit and we would meet the eastbound Steam train at Moscow and trade off short trip cars.
A quick search makes it look like the real one had blank numberboards.

He's right I googled it.
Thanks guys I never knew there was an engine actually painted in this scheme so never thought of googling it
