These belong to my friend Kurt but I am seriously considering a pair for myself. I just love the paint scheme.

Dave, From my bike ride to DC a couple of years ago. Point of Rocks.
Mike,
Cool shots! Is W&LE the railroad putting in the new track for natural gas shipping?

I saw one of these at Imperial this weekend. It is a very nice engine.
Yes, I looked for some shots, I know a have a few, but they didn't come up right away. On the Montour website they talk about early morning access of the Westland Spur and the Markwest liquification plant, so I haven't seen any trains. My bike rides that far out are usually after 9:00 AM. They do an interesting Push-pull Two units on the front and Two units on the rear (remote control). Always has been and still is (two significant grades) to get to Westland. Let me know when you want to go ride.
Mike
Found one but not the tiger stripes.
Dave,
There is usually one or two engines in this paint scheme near Akron, Ohio. There is a small engine servicing facility there that can be seen from route 76 on the right hand side heading into Akron.

Yo,brother mouse, just buy-em,we'll tell everybody there Scotts and won't fit on his HO layout so he's keeping them at your place.
Here are some more Wheeling & Lake Erie diesel photos from Greentree, PA earlier this year for your reference.
My O Scale W&LE. Construction will be starting in June on a 12x18 shelf type layout.
They can be seen running regularly in Canton Ohio.
Dave,
Where did you shoot these pics...your layout or Kurt's?
They really are sharp looking, Dave!
Love anything tiger stripe .... like old Southern Pacific units. But, those W&LE's are really nice.

W&LE BEEP diesels are currently in production. Will be in 2 different roadNUMBERS...W&LE #104 Lynn R. Shook and W&LE #102 Operation Lifesaver...and will feature the molex plugs for improved electrical pickup, improved sprred control and a higher level of painting detail from original W&LE BEEPs of about 5 years ago.
Delivery Fall 2013.
Thanks.

Terry,
The Bessemer calls them viaducts. I think you would have to have them custom made. My friend Rich has a layout building company that makes custom bridges. I am pretty sure they could build something like that. I will post his number and site later.
Here is a photo of the Cornell viaduct on the B&LE.
Wheeling 45, those look very, very cool!! Nice job on the weathering- looks great!
I'll keep my eyes open for the , builder,!
thanks, David
I drive past the Rook Yard on my daily commute, it always brightens my day to see one of their locos in the yard or on the bridge above the parkway.
Dave,
Where did you shoot these pics...your layout or Kurt's?
Neal, You should ride up with me one night. We always have a good time even when we don't make it to Daves layout.
Kurt
