Does anyone Know?
there's one in Melbourne June 7th
Thank you but do you know of any others?
Nick
Just info. You missed the Southern Division TCA meet in West Palm Beach 3-22-14. Next two I see are Venice Sept 6 and Jacksonville Nov 22.
You can check them out www.tcasoutherndivision.org
That's all I can help you with.
Larry
I actually went to that one but forgot to ask about another one so that is why I'm asking here
Ha
I was at that one as well as a few other members . I didn't get to meet any of them.
I posted some pictures of it on OGR. It was advertised on OGR.
I saw the ad. Also, do you know of anyone around Palm Beach county that repairs mth trains?
Nick
Sorry I don't. We were just down for a visit with our son in Okeechobee and I had seen the advertisement in the TCA mag.
Larry
Yes, but I'm 1+ hour away. I just wanted to know if there was someone closer. But I probably will go to get my mth engine fixed. Just one of the minuses of Modern toy trains.
Ready To Roll in north Miami FL is the best for MTH service in southeast Florida.
There are a couple of other hobby shops but nobody has the knowledge of MTH trains like Ready To Roll.
They are on NW 141st Street, use the I-95 exit for NW 135th street and go under I-95 and then go back north a few blocks, then turn left. His place is in a wharehouse type building. If you need better directions email me at phillyreading@gmail.com

There is a show coming up soon in Deerfield Beach FL. November 22nd, Saturday at Westside Park Recreation center, usually from 9 am to 3 pm. Take exit 42 on I-95 and head east toward the ocean, turn right at SW 2nd St. The address is 445 SW 2nd St. Deerfield Beach FL.
This show is sponsered by the South Florida Railway Musuem, www.sfrm.org
Also a TCA show in Stuart FL, maybe in late February or early March? Too soon to get more info.

Train show today in Deerfield Beach FL, from 9 am to 3 pm.
Address is 445 SW 2nd St. at the recreation club house.
Directions; from I-95 take exit 42 or Hillsboro Blvd east toward the ocean, turn right at SW MLK Jr. ave. Will be on the right hand side, should be signs as well.
From FL turnpike tike the Hillsboro Blvd exit(don't know exit number but should be lower then 81, maybe 75?). Take Hillsboro Blvd. toward the ocean and turn right at MLK Jr. ave.
No cost for parking that I know of but maybe a cost of $2.00 to get in.
Usually a good amount of vendors.

Look for the return of the FCMTS shows at the Pembroke Pines Charter School coming on February 28th, 2015. Check their website (FCMTS.org) for details and times.

I think the next SFRM show will be in February at the same place as today's show. They need to schedule a meeting and decide what date for sure.
Also the TCA show will be on March 14, 2015 in WPB FL. It might be the same location as last year's show, 10635 Gardens East Dr. Open to public at 10 am.
Have not heard anything about the Stuart FL TCA show, which is usually in late February or early March.

Lee:
The information you gave for the TCA show in March in the WPB AREA is correct and for the benefit of others in South Florida, attached is the flyer for the show. Note that it's in Palm Beach Gardens, not WPB.
There is not a TCA Stuart Show AND a TCA Palm Beach Gardens Show. Last year the Southern Division moved the TCA Meet formerly held in Stuart every March to St. Marks Church in Palm Beach Gardens.
I believe there is also a non-TCA train show at that same location in December (see link provided below).
And while it may be north of South Florida by a few miles, the quarterly Space Coast show in Melbourne will be Saturday, December 6th.
In general regarding schedules for train shows, usually there’s a table in the lobby at train shows with stacks of free flyers for upcoming shows. Plus there is also this internet resource: Model Train Shows: Calendar of Toy Train & Model Railroad Shows which may not be 100% complete but it usually gets updated every Monday.

Bill,
What ever happened to the Lake Worth road show in August? It used to be at the Polish American club near Military trail on Lake Worth road.
Did the TCA combine the two shows from Stuart (Kanner Hwy & Cove road, Knights of Columbus building) & Lake Worth and make one show out of it? It used to be two separate dates; one in March and one in August.

Lee:
In 2012 the Southern Division decided to move the Summer SD TCA Meet to Venice. The Venice meet continues to be a huge success with the highest attendance of all Florida TCA Meet locations. So now there are TCA meets to serve TCA members and non-members in 5 different areas spread around Florida.
