Where do you get your vehicles that you put in your car carriers, on your layout, etc. Trying to find some modern pickups to put in my autoracks but everything I come up with is 1:64 scale. Any suggestions?

I have to agree with John Diecast Direct is one of the best. And I get mine off eBay and the hobby shops, train shows, and you can look here in the buy sell section sometimes
+1 on Diecast Direct and I also use eBay. Don't forget to check-out Menard's. They are a forum sponsor as well.

try 3000toys
CVS for $5.99 ea. They mostly have 1:36 but sometimes 1:43 show up. I don't know if 1:36 fits on a car carrier.

Where on Ogaugerr do you find the forum sponsors?
Diecast direct is my number one source, followed by MB Kline, and CVS. You have to use discretion for the CVS purchases (size/quality) but some of the models are great. Some nice Dodge Ram and Ford pickups came from CVS, along with a super detailed gas station wrecker.
I once used another seller ... American Heritage? or something similar that was mentioned during a sale by a forum member a few years back. The models were great but most are beyond my layout budget for any regular shopping.
My favorite (the Kinsmart Silverado you asked about in another post) came from a Shaws Supermarket display, of all places.
My only eBay purchase was scratched :-(.
Tomlinson Run RR, one of the ladies :-).
I’ve used Diecast Direct, 3000toys.com , Awesome Diecast, American Excellence and if I need something specific or special usually a google search works.

Top of every page has their banner links. John in Lansing, ILL
I had those banner links at the top of every forum page until about a year ago. They were then missing. After a few weeks I commented on the Forum Tech Support page, only to be answered by having my topic deleted with no explanation. Do you happen to have a suggestion of how I could get the supporting vendors banner retrieved?

Terry,
At the top of each individual forum page under "Featured Topics" there is a list of all the forum sponsors.

I must be running ad blocking software.
Thanks for your help.
It works fine on my I-phone, but must be blocked on my desk top.
Depending on your browser, blocking popups will cause it. I mentioned the list in case you aren't successful in getting them back, also not all are in the banners at once.
I'm getting mine from open-air markets, junk shops, yard sales, and Wal-Mart.
Ebay. Search diecast car, select the scale, then the era(s) and search the lowest price first.
Theres always nice die cast that goes for much less than retail. 40's and 50's
American Excellence has a TON of diecast cars from all brands. They also frequently have some great sales.
Diecast Direct. Of course I only just started buying vehicles last October.
