I was given a railking ps1 loco for repair. It's the SF SD90 #30-2121-1 Right off the bat the truck mounting screw and splitwasher are missing. anyone know where I can find one? Does Anyone know the screw size? maybe I can goto my hardware store and see if they have a matching threaded screw.

Maybe MTH can help you out. Good Luck
I don't have the engine you do, but every fastener I have ever tried to find for anything train has been an odd size and my local hardware store hasn't had anything like it. I would say MTH or possibly Micro Fasteners. Possibly one of the forum members that do repairs may also have something? Another option might be re-tapping it (might need to drill it out too?) to some size that you can find locally. Just a thought here, don't know if that is even possible?
Most fasteners these days are metric sizes. Here is the exploded view and parts list for that locomotive. Notice that most of the screws are metric. You probably will not find these sizes locally.

Metric screws are available at most hardware stores. I obtain these "metric" truck screws at ACE hardware to replace regular freight truck screws. They are size M3 button head (Phillips head). I buy 6 mm length along with a #4 brass washer for my MTH/Railking cars. They may be also available at Lowes and Home Depot.
They are available in different lengths.

Thank You Charly, that's good info, I saved it for future reference. The more MTH part numbers you have the better.
I'll second Ace Hardware. Perhaps I have a couple good one's near me, but I have never looked for a screw for a toy train project and come home empty handed. My Ace always has what I need from postwar to modern MTH. I sound like a commercial...
