If you have a GPS program it to find OMSI. The center is just around the corner. 2 weeks ago we were there and the Daylight had all her "skins" off as well as her "face". She was undergoing a 15 year inspection. Pretty cool to be able to see all the pluming and inside the boiler. Bad thing was that my son loves that engine and was disappointed that she was not wearing her colors. Just 20 minutes up the road for us for plenty more visits to come.

We are located at 2250 SE Water Ave, Portland, Oregon. For those taking transit, take MAX light-rail to NE 7th Avenue station and transfer to a "Central Loop" streetcar destined for OMSI. See MAX and Streetcar websites for more information.

Our hours are 1-5 PM Thursdays thru Sundays. There is no charge to enter the facility, but your support at the donation box or concessions shop is much appreciated!

":...where's it AT?" "Behind the AT" as my mother used to say - to teach me good

grammar.

I even hear this "...at" on the Weather Channel, CNN and many other places - where they should know better. Of course, a profound remark by a news anchor these days is usually awide-eyed "Wow!".

Just can't hear Edward R. Murrow saying "wow!".
