Get healthy Laz - Deer season is close
No problem my friend. Get better! Hope it's nothing serious.
Get well. York is coming soon.
Hey Laz, Here's wishing you a quick recovery. I will miss the Wednesday videos and your voice saying "What have we here" Always fun watching and listening to you. Bill Park
Laz, feel better. The weather has been nutty, so nutty that the Brazilian rain forest called and wants their nuts back. Take it easy, York is around the bend.
Laz,
Hope it's nothing serious and you're back to "adoing" soon.
Bob
Laz - just noticed your message for today...Hey take all the time needed to get healthy. It should be your #1 priority. Hope all goes well and you are back soon.

It seems, the news of George Lazar’s passing has been noted on a number of forums. Laz1957 was a great fellow. Always pleasant to correspond with. I am sorry I never met him in person.

Very sad to hear this news, I always enjoyed the Whistle Stop Wednesday videos and commentaries.
George will be missed sorely, ….what a great man, …I have bought a few models from George over the years, just an all around great person, …..really cared that we were all happy…..
Pat
Sad news for sure. George was a great guy to interact with on the forum, always a positive message.
His enthusiasm for the hobby shown in his videos, is what it's all about.
Thoughts and prayers for his family.
I had told my coworkers about George and his very funny and cheerful videos nearly every Wednesday that they were posted. I even watched some of the diesel videos(even though I am a steam head), George made me like the commentary. Yeah, not all diesels are bad, but give me that good old steam. George was a very good man that would make you feel great in a few minutes. He will be sorely missed.
I knew George thru our forums. Always looked for him at York. We already miss his videos. RIP George.
Sad to hear this, George was a good guy. His enthusiasm for life and his trains was infectious. I had a number of interactions with him when he was doing upgrades, I'll miss those conversations.
Sad news - Thank you for posting - Always enjoyed Whistle Stop Wednesday
Thoughts and prayers to George’s family and friends
Very sad, indeed. My condolences to all his family and friends.
He will be missed here.
Peter
Yeah. The good thing is we can always remember him in his cheerful videos and great humor too. I always liked his lead up to running the trains. "Without any further ado"
Sad news, for sure! Sincere condolences from all the OGR crew to his wife Pam, his entire family, and his great number of friends.

Ah yes. I will miss the Ado's. And OUT!
Prayers to George's family. I did not know George, but I am familiar with his many videos. He was one of many that inspired me to build a layout and enjoy the hobby. In reading his obituary, I see he was a Pennsylvanian. It seems so many of you out there are from PA. This hobby runs deep with folks from all places, but especially in PA. It was my PA grandfather and father whose train sets I inherited, who's holiday carpet layouts I looked forward to. I hope we can continue to pass along the love of this hobby to those younger than us. It seems we area losing so may of the current "custodians".
Mike
Sincere condolences to the family and friends. George was a showman and a great voice for the hobby. Who can (or wants to) forget his alien attack on Snob Hill? He has already been missed and will continue to be.
