Interesting, it's typical tinplate size. The fixed tab and slot connections wouldn't negotiate curves on track. Would be interesting to discover what other items came with it.
Jim O’clair answered on another forum that it is by Mohawk. He also posted pictures of other items. Hopefully he will post them here also. The frame is 7” long so it would be a good fit with many early tinplate pieces. Just doesn’t fit my collection
