Who is Going to the Lionel Warehouse Sale?

There’s 4 of us going from western Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday.

I am always at the NRV Train show in Raleigh NC that weekend

Well it's a choice between this sale and going to York.  The distance is about the same for me.  But the car is already packed for York and I leave in the morning.

Our group looks forward to this more than York now.  Not that there is more to buy or as much to see but it's a different adventure and the drive down is always a hoot and every now and then you come home with a good prize.  

Just looked up the dates of the NRV show and it is the same weekend -November 9th&10th. If you are in the area go to both.

Too bad it is in the opposite direction from heading home after York or we would have went on Saturday.

I’m planning on going down to the sale on Friday night for the LCCA event. Hopefully I’ll have some money left after York. 

Looks like I'll miss the warehouse sale. The Bluefield, WV model train show is the same weekend this year.

I'll be there Friday evening.

I'm sure many of us would appreciate a report and photos, if possible.  Enjoy and thanks.

I have 3 members from our club going Sat.    It should be a hoot as always!

Something to think about. Lionel Warehouse Sale competing with the few diminishing retail stores out there. Not sure if that is a good business model. Selling refurbished items is fine, but when you start to sell current items, that's a different story. In the end, none will be left and Lionel will sell direct at full retail. Just a thought.

I’ll be there Friday evening!   My wife messed up and gave her credit card to me and said Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas.  LOL 

Can you order parts on line and get the discount?

Yes, just order online between 12:01 a.m. on Friday morning and 11:59 p.m. Sunday evening.  I've done that twice now.

Wife and I just left, good prices on oddball and accessory pieces, starter sets, track, die cast, and Lionel paraphernalia.

Then hit the retail store in the Concord Mall to spend the credits earned on the warehouse purchases.  $5 for every $50 spent.  Met some people doing the same thing. Store had some discounts marked.
