I dug out several of my un-boxed cars to put up for sale in a lot and have this handsome FEC that I am assuming is the 1975 TCS Southern Division Convention car.
I see no manufacturer on it.
Weaver? Frank's Roundhouse? Custom Trains?

Could not find it in Greenberg's guide to Lionel, even under TCA cars. Look at the underside and see what letters are heat stamped on it if any. MTH could have made it but I doubt it because of being too early, unless your dating is off, I don't know as I don't have the boxcar to look at.

Looks like a franks roundhouse car.

It has a Auburn/KMT/AMT/Kris look about it, but I'm guessing...the plug-door is neat...did
KMT, et al, do this door?
If you enlarge the photo and look at the lettering at the left it says:
FLORIDA EAST COAST
F.E.C.
SD1975
I gather this is the 1975 Convention or perhaps a Southern Division meet
In the Kris Model Trains chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains, it is listed under boxcars made for the Train Collectors Association. Described as variation (C) 1975 Light blue; "Florida"; "East Coast" convention car; gold lettering; plug doors; half ladders.
There is a quick and easy way to tell if a box car is from the AMT/KMT/Kusan/Frank's/Williams family. I use this method when cruising the aisles at York and smaller train shows, so that I can spot what I want from a distance.
The small triangular-shaped gusset, hanging down from the lower side of the car side, just inboard of the inner wheel set, at each end, is the give-away.
Thanks guys for the great info.
I'm going to offer it over on the FS board for awhile to see if anyone here would like it.
