Who owns a Lionel Legacy #746 J ? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I’m thinking about purchasing one of these engines. I need more info. I would like to hear the whistle sounds. I thought Lionel electronically duplicated the air whistle sound for this engine. Also, does it still have the original 611 crew talk? Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kevin,

I have one and I really do like it. It has a quillable postwar style sounding air whistle and many small details that make it match up with the postwar version. I have not checked the crew sounds on mine but I believe its the the same crew talk as the other Js and not a cab specific road number.
