Those are on my own buy list,
I'll be going with a wad of cash. Let's see if anyone can get me to spend it...........
Hoping to go! Might have to miss because of a work trip, but fingers crossed!
Oft times I wish I lived out East rather in the great desert of traindom, northwest Iowa.
I’ll be there. Looking forward to it.

Let me give that a try or three, John,
Gee, "small steam engines", what a concept, and maybe heresy?...oops, l should shut up as my dream engine, #90, is actually? going to be produced over across the three rail divide. Long drive for a short meet...but only hope for some things.... I hope some body brings in a crate of Wabash 2-6-0's, and all else that has been produced in that category over time. Good luck on gittin' yer druthers!
I'll be there looking to put some of my Overland engines up for adoption. P5a, FF-2, P5a modified, Crusader, C&O Hudson, new track and switches.

Samples of structures?
Anyone bringing any 3-rail items? I plan on going regardless, but always nice to see a selection for us hi-rail guys.

I know that there's 1 Sunset engine in the one tub. But, I'm not unpacking everything now and taking inventory. If anything, I'll be trying to cram more into 1 more tub. So, show up and buy everything!!
Dear Forumites,
The August show is shaping up to be possibly our best ever.
John Wubbel will be there representing the resurrected All Nation line.
Rich and I are noticing many of our normal table holders are purchasing additional tables to sell there goodies.
looking forward to seeing the old faces and always welcoming new faces !!
And still only $5 bucks admission !!
It's always a great day in Strasburg - Lancaster County Pa.
Check out the OGR Calendar section for all the information on the meet/show.
Thank you.
John and Rich
I will be going. It's a long way from NC so I'll have to start walking soon. Already have reservations at some flophouse up there.
I'm looking for some utility buildings, any hint of a selection of buildings?
John Dunn!
August show biggest ever exciting!
so living here in Maine makes this trip now no closer than in previous years.
but I wish all that attend on both sides of the tables a joyous experience.
please someone Post photos of your event.
much thanks, Pierre.
Martin, what I need is some kind of coal fired power generating plant. Like the clunky Korbor power plant. Just something basic to represent a need of heavy coal use.
At this late point in life my interest lies in providing rail service disregarding detailed structures. Not sure how long this game will go on, I've even stopped buying green bananas.
Model train buildings frequently are so generic that for my purposes I could take any large structure letter it "City Electric", dust it up and stick a big chimney next to it. I'm almost ready to wrap brick paper around a couple of cardboard boxes and fire up one of Hieki's tall smoking industrial chimneys.
We all have different segments of the hobby that rings our bell. The real fun for me is in getting the product delivered, whether it be lumber, oil, cattle, refrigerated service, commuters, gas or people with gas.

step right up John. I'll have what you need!
I would like to go, a little far unfortunately.. enjoy
I'll be attending the show and will have available for sale a custom built lumber yard building. update - the lumber yard just sold via the O scale yard sale

What are the exact dates and the exact location please. I may be in Lancaster that weekend and might want to attend although I am a 3-railer, not 2.
It's on the 7th of Aug. At the fire station. At 203 W Franklin St. In Strasburg.
wish I could make it. I will be in Lancaster county the week following. Timing just didn't workout.

John, Pump up that wad of cash, I'm bringing a Sunset S1 with DCS. It has your name on it... TT
May I suggest putting the date of the event in the title? Two weeks is relative only to the date first posted.

Sure. Why not? I'm sure that there might be folks that can't use a calendar and figure that out relative to the date 1st posted, nor look in the calendar on this very forum.....or use Google....or even Farcebook....

Darn, until it was mentioned here, I never paid much attention to the fact that a forum / model railroading calendar existed here. Something I will have to remember.

Even so it's nice to have a date associated with a post about a show right in the post. Maybe I'm the exception.
And to be fair, the York Meet isn't even in the calendar so unless someone actually puts the information there it can be useless.
Dear Forumites,
Saturday's weather appears to be a stellar summer Saturday in Strasburg Pa.
After the meet, enjoy the Strasburg Railroad , Pa State RR Museum, TCA Museum , hundreds of outlet stores and all the Amish themed events in Lancaster County Pa.
See you there!!
John and Rich
Ditto John. After you buy my PRR SS Q-1, S-1 & S-2 engines the rest of the day can be spent in RR paradise.
1st time to attend and have been looking forward to it for some time. I'm also kinda scared, I've already bought 1 engine for pick up and am not even there yet:
How was the show? I wanted to go but unforunately came down with a nasty cold and did not want to spread my germs around. I tested negative for the real plague but bummed about missing the show.
Any one have any pictures to share?

I would like to see some pictures, too. 🙂

Between the April Strasburg show and today's Strasburg show the last of my inventory of 115 excess turnouts were sold and the last of my 95 excess freight cars are gone. Feels good.
Strasburg has been very good for me! Thank you John and Rick!
