I "think" if I wanted to post on YouTube that I'm selling some used/new Fastrack and send a link to this web-sites for sale page, I possibly could.  I can't find one video of the new MTH CP Holiday train from the manufacturer or a buyer if they may even have it. Knock, knock puddin' heads, Christmas is coming! Trainworld posted a video of the Railking Christmas ES44AC, and I couldn't wait to buy it.  I would NOT have even considered purchasing this item until I saw the video.  Well done Train World!  What manufacturers show in their "NEW" catalogs are not even available for almost a year, but when/if they hit the stores, many items sit.  I'm 55 y.o., and I'm basically on the "young" side of this hobby.  If it is kept this low key in terms of promotion it will continue to be in decline, but so will the minimal offerings from the manufacturers. I realize that the majority of 2?-46.. year old fathers never woke up to see a train under the tree on Christmas morning or even considered getting their kids one, but those are the folks you want to sell trains to.  It's all about renewing traditions.   I'm blaming stupid slot cars/video games for their Father's mis-judgement in the Santa gift giving business.  Do kids even wave at train engineers anymore/$&# there isn't even a caboose anymore?   I'm doing the upon my death "leave behind update", and I've found myself being very particular as to who obtains my mediocre trains (some Super Cool) vs. my top of the line fishing equipment.  Another "Polar Express" movie isn't going to come around anytime soon, so what is the remedy, and we don't need Sebastian Bach, well we sort of do!
