First, Does the explorer show up in available Wifi networks when the switch is set to MTH?
If it does appear, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?
It does show up in the available WiFi when I go to the app it gives me a error message saying it can’t find the Explorer, I can reinstall the app and try it again
You can delete and reinstall the app. As Quietman said, make sure the switch is set to MTH - it is just easier than connecting it to your home network. Once you get it working you could connect it to your home network, if you want.
Great thanks I will try that today and let you all know what happens
Is your App configured to look for the Explorer and not a TIU? The choice is under More/Settings/System.

Yes i thought of that too.
Is the firmware on the Explorer the latest version, v1.2?
If you connect to the Explorer using LuCi it might not show the version number but will display a date of February 2018.....I think....
(That's funny, MrMoe and I were typing our replies at the same time. Great minds . . . )
One other thing- which version of firmware do you have? I think you need to login through LuCi to check but can't remember for sure.
I had this issue on a regular basis with the original firmware after an Android update. If I didn't try to log into the Explorer within about 30-60 seconds of it booting up, I couldn't login. Would have to power the Explorer down and back up and try it again. The upgrade didn't totally fix it, but made it better.
Thanks I will check and let you all know
I think I got it fixed, I just deleted the app and reinstalled it, thanks everybody for your help
Glad to hear that.
