I am so unsure about the size matters, I would rather not mix 027 - O gauge - Lionel O gauge and the engines. IT looks like a "Little engine that could" Pulling a way too BIG Caboose... ya know? How about a Lionel post war caboose, they are plentiful and not too expensive. Goes well with O-27 and not bad with their O (not the newer full scale of course)
Something to check on - if memory serves - the Lionel O Gauge F-3's and close to being scale - so my guess is it would look alright!
