Sounds as if you might, although those those are relying on shipping as the sole means of acquisition might not.

FWIW, I think Eric S. Got his Berk from Legacy Station when they were released, and he was one of the first ones here to post a pic via Facebook.

Been waiting on it since it was 'rumor' of being a Vision Line offering.

I thought today was the 18th?  Anyway I was under impression they shipped from west coast port on the 18th.

If you listened to the Notch 6 Podcast, Mike said they would hit the port in Seattle Monday, based on the release of the podcast I took that to be the 15th, or Tuesday.  They would then be sent directly from there to the distributors and direct dealers.  I would suspect and again based on what Mike said that some folks will have 'em under the tree.  Some shortly after.  And most by the end of the year as promised.

Listen to the podcast and hear what was involved in getting these to us before the end of the year.

Sure hope that is works out for a Christmas delivery for those that ordered this engine. I think Santa likes it too.

my credit card has not been hit yet.

If you haven't already, check out the Notch 6 podcast.  Great info not just on delivering this epic locomotive, but also all of the parts and measures Lionel has done to make this the best Vision Line/Locomotive offering yet!

I was blown away when Mike stated how many parts were in the tender alone....And, there are even more in the locomotive...just a 'teaser' for you!

One last thing-Lionel has posted the owner's manual on thier site.  Worth a read to understand how to get to extra features of this new locomotive.

one thing mike did not mention is how the Bigboys are being shipped to dealers. 

if they are trucked from Seattle to the east that is 7 days.

and with the volume shippers have right now could be longer.

There is no way I'll get mine by Christmas, being I live in AZ and bought it from Nassau.  My hope was Nassau gets them on the 19th, and ships out the same day, so I'd get it on the 26th, which means I have the rest of the weekend to play with it.  Nevertheless, I'll get it when I get it, and I'll enjoy every bit of it.

I understand they are on UPS/truck/Train on the way back east. Come on BNSF don't fail us now!

If they just left WA, that means I'd be lucky if I saw it before the new year.  Oh well.
