Williams 4-6-0 power interuption going over 6019 track

This is the only model I have that does this.

Headlight blinks when passing over center uncoupler section (electromagnet) of Lionel 6019 uncoupler / unloader track. 027 track layout. If slow speed it will stall and not move forward or backward on that section.

It happens when the front roller of the tender passes over the center electromagnet.

Checked electrical pin continuity on track. Seems fine. 2026 and and WBB GP38 work fine. 4-6-0 starved for power on just that section?

Any ideas?
