Williams am fleet coach cars

I don't know if this helps for current value, but I bought a set of 5 of these cars (numbers 881 to 885) in 1998 for $320. 

Odd you should mention these now because my set sat in storage for years and I just decided to run them on the SD3R layout last Sunday.  They are nice cars.  I first ran them with a Williams Amtrak FP45 that I got at the same time, but they look better behind a K-Line FP40.

I would say $40 to $50 per car.  I bought a set of six Williams Crown era amfleet cars quite a while back on the auction site and paid $150 (bargain).  Check the auction site for current sold prices.

I like them better than the MTH RK plastic amfleet cars.  Something about the aluminum and heft of the Williams that appeals to me.

I agree with Gordon completely. Yours are the shorter cars, if I'm not mistaken. If they were the longer cars the price would be higher. There are very few of the earlier Wms. available.(The threat of zinc-rot is very high as they age. IMHO)

Why not go to ebay, check completed auctions for the cars and see what they SOLD for??

I will say this.

I bought MTH cars like these and they were less than $100 for a set of 4 cars. And while the MTH are plastic they are much more detailed.....so value may be close to the same.
